Island Aviation Services Limited (IAS) joins with Sharaf Travel

Last Monday, Maldives’ Island Aviation services Limited (IAS) signed a deal with Sharaf Travel Dubai. From now on, Sharaf Travel will operate as IAS’s General sales Agent for UAE and Oman. On Monday, Bandhu Ibrahim Saleem, Managing director, IAS and Salah Sharaf, Chairman, Sharaf Travel signed the deal. Through this deal, IAS expanded its international operations in the Middle East.
IAS was incepted in April 2000 and commenced its domestic services within the country. IAS commenced its regional operations with its first flight to Trivandrum, India in January this year.
The company is also the ground handling agent for all the airlines that operate at Male International Airport. In addition to this, IAS operates air cargo warehouse and provides business class lounge facilities for premium passengers at Male International Airport and domestic airports in the country.
Sharaf Travel, is among the top 10 agencies in the UAE and has grown since its inception in 1991 with offices all over the UAE and Oman.
